Their wanderlust spirit needed something beyond traditional planned overseas. They planned a small destination wedding in Sintra and prepared a first look in Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. After this beautiful moment at the cliffs, they back to the quinta to finish their preparations. They were eager originally to have everything outdoors at the lush gardens. But the inconsistent rainy wedding weather had to opt the planners to use the spaces of the Villa. The intimate wedding in the Quinta My vintage was at the gorgeously old chapel with portuguese tiles. The reception and dinner was at one cosy and beautiful room with the sea views.

Why a destination elopement in Portugal

This american couple decided to do an elegant and intimate destination wedding in Portugal with just closest friends and immediate family. They preferred to do a small wedding with only 25 guest instead of having a very large wedding of 300 people back home in Texas, USA. A proud Hispanic and Asian roots as the diversity of their city Houston, made Europe the final decision. They were drawn to Portugal, with its own melting pot of cultures.

Getting married at the Quinta My Vintage wedding

The couple chose the Quinta My vintage wedding for the historical villa, far from traditional and boring wedding venues. The Quinta offer different spaces for a sweet and colorful outdoor ceremony and the outdoor reception is fabolous. The vintage styled decoration and the views to the Ocean and Sunset evoke the romantic feelings of Sintra. And they loved the colorful and warm ambiance provided, like the secret forest and gardens. The food absolutely was delicious and the cake was something amazing to see and taste. The wild party was a perfect great time while dancing during the disco hours.
