Cats from Madrid and Sardines from Lisbon. These are the two symbols from the cities of Helena and Manel. Cats are the symbols of the street life of Madrid, and sardines are the main symbol of Lisbon for the festivals of the city in june. They were married in the Jeronimo´s monastery a rainy day in Lisbon, Portugal, and they surprised their friends and family with a lunch in a nineteenth century pavilion of Agriculture Expo of 1884. I remember specially the moment of Helena waiting on a vintage classic 1933 ford car for weddings in front of the monastery waiting the rain stopped, and how finally, the brave driver decided went into the arch of the principal door of the Monastery. Many tourists who had taken refuge from the rain delighted with the arrival of the bride and cheered for the adventure of bringing the old car to them.
