Porto wedding photographer – Ronaldo + Angela – vintage aerodrome engagement

Inspired on some old films I like and with some icons pictures on my head, this session was prepared in my head long time ago. My love story around planes comes from my child, when I built them with my father and when it was supossed do my pilot career in San Javier militar academy in Spain (old story that finally not happened). For all those good moments around travels and planes, I wanted to photograph a real couple in a special place with a nice aircraft as background. After some destinations weddings by Europe, I thought about the old and small hangars always around the main airports. Lucky me,  I found a talented event designer in Porto and I explained her my dream, and after some emails and calls, we chose the Porto aerodrome in Portugal.

Thanks to Angela and Renato for let tell their story with my point of view, accepting this simple adventure for their true love.

We chose this aerodrome cause the old American Flight school vintage Piper J3 Cub aircraft, the famous Piper Cub, in service yet. Thank you to the Aerodromo Vilar de Luz in Porto, Portugal. We decided the porto and famous chocolates from Porto for this special moment. I used a tilt handmade lens system with mirrorlens cameras to give the old aspect to some photographs.
