Rustic boho wedding at countryside Alentejo – D&D

This couple celebrated a whimsical and rustic countryside rustic wedding under the trees. As Alentejo wedding photographer I love these small travels so I can enjoy the big landscapes and scouting small villages. This small destination wedding was at the Herdade dos Alfanges, a farmhouse built in the 1600′ in Viana do Alentejo. This area is known as the new Tuscany for all the heritage and nature treasures. The Alentejo is perfect for a retreat in close contact with nature.

Coming from very different parts of the world, they decided on Portugal as a meeting point for their families and friends. They planned a week of activities to share with their guest.

The day started with the traditional tea ceremony with closer family and friends. Family prepared the chinesse decoration and sweets for the event. The red doors of the barn created a nice and intimate atmosphere.

The wedding started with the jazz brass band Cottasclub leading the guess across the field. The couple exchanged Vows and rings under the centenary trees and the sunset color painted the first toast.  The outdoor dinner allowed to enjoy the starry ski and the wild party.
