Laid back affair. They aren’t very traditional so wanted everything to be easy and low key. The wedding at the ecoresort Rio do Prado was special for the ceremony on the lake. They wanted to share an unique experience during the ceremony, so the vows and rings were on amazing natural platform overlooking the Obidos lake. The asymmetrical wedding ceremony backdrop put a lush garden perspective during the event. Dinner and speeches were at the  filled with lush plant life greenhouse in Rio do Prado ecoresort, adding to the outdoor feel. It could not miss the beautiful Portuguese tiles to give an authentic touch of destination to this wedding. And luckily in Obidos there are some beautiful tiles that we used for the portraits.

The bride wore a yellow dress by New York designer Sarah Seven that matched the vibe of the day.

Some words from the couple: “Met in a pub in Belfast 9 years ago. Caitlin from Australia, Cormac from Ireland. We decided to get married whilst spending a long weekend in Spain. Rio Do Prado was our favourite hotel we had been there a few times so got married there. 120 guests, 70 flew from Australia, The rest flew from Ireland, America, Spain, France, Amsterdam, Poland, Ireland, U.K. Highlights was the amazing natural platform overlooking Obidos lagoon where we were married. The beautiful food and drinks at Rio Do Prado and the all night dancing. Last people were taxi home at 6am. Enjoy it as it goes by in a flash”
