I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding of a Scottish couple who tied the knot in Forte da Cruz at Estoril and Cascais bay. This whimsical venue has seen lots of love stories come to life amidst stunning landscapes and unforgettable moments.

The bride and her bridesmaids got ready in the elegant Hotel Palacio de Estoril. This hotel was perfect for the guest to who later walked to the venue. Just 10 minutes walking from the lobby of hotel to the venue gave a special intimate touch.

The bridesmaids looked stunning in champagne tones, while the groom and groomsmen sported traditional Scottish kilts. As the guests arrived, the sound of bagpipes filled the air, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The venue was adorned with white floral arrangements, adding a touch of elegance to the wooden arch that served as the aisle for the ceremony. The ceremony was simple yet emotional, and the newlyweds could not hide their joy as they exchanged their vows.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed the cocktail hour with the sea breeze. As experienced photographer in Forte da Cruz, I took advantage of my favorite spots at the Fort to capture some stunning photos of the couple.

The reception was held in front of the sea, and several heartfelt and amusing speeches were made before the newlyweds cut their naked wedding cake and shared their first dance as a married couple.
